Okay please tell me I am not the only one who tries to fit a little bit of Disney into my everyday wear. Weather it be a piece of jewellery or a full on Minnie Mouse jean Jacket. I know I totally love wearing my jean jacket. I used to have Mickey Mouse earrings, but I no longer am able to wear earrings, so they are long gone. Sometimes adding a little piece into your wardrobe is not going to hurt. Plus who is going to notice? Maybe a fellow disney lover. I try to put little pieces together, but you don’t want to look like a total weirdo at work, well somedays I do. Its who I am.

Now, we all know that the Disney Parks are fun, amusing and gorgeous, but has anyone looked at the Disney Cruise line (for the remainder of this post it will be known as DCL)? It’s all the fun of the parks and hotels with the added fun of a cruise. With the DCL, you can ride the water rides, meet characters, have delicious meals on board and off board. Plus have you see the Sail Away Party? Or the See Ya Real soon party? Every time I have seen those videos I cry like a little wuss, because its so meaningful. Also have ya’ll heard that there is not only Captain Mickey on board but Captain Minnie now too?! Lady Power for the win! The DCL even will take you to other countries for day trips off the trip. Like Jamaica or Grand Cayman and of course Disney’s Private Island Castaway Cay (pronounced Key). I understand most families go, but I think that the DCL is more of a romantic thing vs the parks being more for families. The Parks are of course what everyone knows and loves. Many people do not even know about the DCL. Did you know that their are 4 ships? I didn’t until about a week and a half ago & I am a full time Disney lover. Disney needs to open another park somewhere closer to me so I can go whenever I want. The DCL is a different type of fun. I mean in reality everyone on board would be in close proximity, compared to the parks. Which of course have rides like the Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder Mountain , Space Ship Earth. I mean there are 4 parks too.. WAIT DISNEY DOES THINGS IN FOURS. Don’t they??

Everyone who loves Disney, wants to one day visit the parks. No matter how hard you try it is one of your goals. Even if you do get to go you still want to go back because one trip is not going to help you to see everything within the basically city that is Disney. No matter what park you go to you still have so much to see. Has anyone taken the time to really take a glance at how everyone is ordering Mystery Boxes?

No matter what your age group is, you can order a mystery box. I have multiple subscriptions now, to see how many different things I can get. Not living close to any of the parks makes getting Disney Parks merchandise the hardest possibilities. With my subscriptions for Bibbidi Bobbed Boxes I have decided to not only purchase the “BLING” MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION BOX, but also the “DREAMS” MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION BOX.

The reason I chose The Bling box: I want to start collecting pins from the parks. When I go looking online for Disney Pins I start to get sad as I can not see the pins in person. But I know that if someone who is a curator , then they can see the pins and see if someone would truthfully want one. Which only means that they will look at the preferences that they have and get the pins that each client would prefer.

Many people are wanting to know the reason for my planning of a trip for my whole family. Four people. 11 days, 10 nights. When it comes to the reason as to why I want to take my family on this wild trip, I honestly don’t know for sure. I think it is because I want my mom to have a care free trip for once in her life, she has worked for everything she has given us and she really deserves to have a carefree trip. She is my best friend in the entire world and I would do basically anything for her. I know that this trip is going to cost me a lot of money, especially since we are coming from Canada. Which means it will cost me a little more than someone who would be living inside the United States. However, this is something I have wanted for a long time. I know that my mom deserves to have a trip where she does not have to watch over my brother and I and worry that we will be stolen. I want her to finally have the trip of her dreams, she took us 5 years ago to the parks but she was a nervous mess. Mom’s worry about financial things that as a 13 year old you don’t think about at all. My mom was worried about every little detail with disney. Now from watching the videos from DFBGuide, she has taught us that we could have done the character meals but we did not know that. Nor did we know that we could visit other Resort hotels from our own. This way you can see what it would be like to be a rich son of a gun. But then again why stay at a hotel like the Grand Floridian when all you are doing at the hotel is sleeping & eating, and well showering cause you sweat in the parks all day. I know that we will most likely be staying at either Art of Animation Resort or All Star Music, they have family suites so that all of us can stay in a room but not be piled on top of each other. Let’s be honest most families are not all size 2. We got some extra weight to us. I know my mom and stepdad are thankful, but at times my stepdad likes to get all pissy about it, I mean if he really does not want to go, that is fine. I will find someone to take , I mean everyone secretly loves Disney.

Hey Guys, it’s Michaela back again for Disneybyateen! I know it was a while between the first two posts! I apologize for the wait, things get crazy in our lives and things get let to the back. Anyways this post is going to be all about those disney throwbacks, wether it be those songs that we still secretly jam out to or the movies that you remember watching when you were sick or the characters, this post will read all about that!

Movies: I know that you all remember watching the good disney movies on the weekends with your siblings and if your parent would sit through it they would watch them too. Sometimes those are the best memories a kid can have. I have one memory that is ingrained in my mind. It was 2011 when Good Luck Charlie : It’s Christmas came out, and my brother and I sat and watched the movie together for the first time with our mom and it was just the best thing. We sang and danced, and cried of course. I also remember being about 3 years old and watching Mary Poppins over and over, I love Julie Andrews she is just practically perfect in every way, if you catch my drift. And singing along to all the songs. Recently they made Mary Poppins 2… and I was so upset with how that came out. I didn’t even make it through the whole movie because it was so different. Don’t get me wrong I love Emily Blunt too, but she just is not Mary to me. I own the original and never watch it to keep it safe. I know it is weird. Does anyone remember a time when the Disney Original movies were our thing to do on the weekends? On holidays they were the best things in the world. Am I the only one who remembers watching Halloweentown? Those movies are still a must in October for me. But if they were to ever remake those I know for a fact they would not be good. The remakes almost never are. Same with sequels. Does any one remember the show LIFE WITH DEREK? What a time to be alive in the early 2000’s.

Music: When it comes to music from the early 2000’s you know that you jam out to some of the gods of music. Like Miley Cyrus’ Can’t Be Tamed which every girl knows the words to. I mean if you don’t know the words to the Kim Possible theme song, something is wrong with you. Call me beep me if you wanna reach me, I mean come on. At least we know that the jams were too good to be true as there is literally no music during the commercials. We used to wait for those song commercials. When it comes to the music from the old Disney channel movies you know that they were hardcore, at least for 2005. Who said you can’t wear your converse with your dress? Definitely not Demi Lovato.

Characters: The amount of characters that make the inner child in us open up is amazing. When I went to Walt Disney World, we met all the main characters. The characters I am planning to meet this trip is Belle and Mary Poppins for sure. Not to mention of course the mouse behind it all, and all of the fab five. But meeting those rare characters is what everyone loves because it is so different. Meeting people that come out for special events is a dream. Like the Queen of Hearts. I remember how giddy I got whilst meeting the heroes of my life. When it comes to it , Disney does everything really well. They really know how to make everyone’s day a magical experience.

I have been living off of looking at mystery boxes for so long. Now I have received two boxes from MICKEY MONTHLY, and let me tell you the disney child within me was very happy with what I received. I am going to talk about both of the boxes in this segment.

Box 1: I received this box at the end of March 2019, I knew that the curator had different kinds of boxes and that because I live outside of the United States I would not be able to receive the food from the parks within the boxes, which I was okay with. A little sad because the food at Disney is actually so good. Anyways my mom and my step dad who are really my best friends in the world, knew that this box was coming as they know my love for Disney, the moment it arrived I was happy as heck. I saw that bright blue box and a smile was on my face instantly. I opened that box and saw that confetti that every youtuber who unboxes the Disney mystery boxes talks about. I was so happy. I saw the EPCOT Flower and Garden festival Map and my heart was happy as can be. Then I continued looking and saw the cutest Dumbo wallet and my heart was even happier. And for those of you who do not know, I am a mug collector and I saw the WINNIE THE POOH easter mug! Honestly had never been so happy with a mystery box before.

Box 2: I received this box 2 days before my 19th birthday. I was so happy that it arrived so quickly. Now I knew that when I opened this box I was going to be happy. I opened it and saw that confetti again and the kid in my was just so happy. Then I saw the PENS and I enjoy writing, incase you did not know (lol). And I giggled with my mom. Then I saw the Kitchen Spoon Trivet, with Minnie and Mickey on it and let me tell you how over the moon happy I was with it. Then I looked down and I saw something MICKEY SHAPED. Which is a big trend, and it was a cookie. It was too cute to not take a million photos of (which I totally did). And I would just like to thank Pixie Dust Cookies for making such a delicious food.
